How to Be a Scorer-Ramapo League
Scoring :
Each team may have four official entries for each individual event. Clean sweep of points will not be permitted. Only the first three swimmers may score points, the fourth point must go to the other team if there is an entry. Ribbons will be awarded to the first, second, third, fourth place swimmers as they actually place. b. Scoring for an individual event will be 5-3-2-1. A team may not take all four places. c. All relay teams are official but only one may place officially. No team sweep. Scoring shall be 8-4. d. A team may choose to go unofficial when mathematically they have won the meet (280 points). In the event of this, the opposing team will receive all points for three places, providing they have a legal swimmer competing in that event. The coach going unofficial needs to let the meet referee know of the change.
