Good Morning Wayne Waves Families,

We have another busy and exciting week ahead with an away meet, a home meet, practices, clinics, and our annual Wayne Waves Pig Out! It looks like the weather may be a factor early in the week, so we will continue monitoring the forecast and keep everyone updated.

As a reminder, filling lanes gives us the best chance to be successful at our meets. Every swimmer makes a difference, so please declare your availability in SwimTopia as soon as possible.

This week begins our Lakeland League Division Championship run. If we can defeat Packanack (July 8), Erskine Lake (July 15), and Green Pond (July 22), we will win the Lakeland Division Championship.

Another important date to circle is Monday, July 13, when we travel to Pequannock for a Ramapo League rematch. That meet gives us another opportunity to compete for the regular season Champion of the Ramapo League.

As a coaching staff, we are continuing to add opportunities for your swimmers to improve. On Tuesday, we will once again offer an Afternoon Practice before our annual team barbecue. On Wednesday, we have added a second swim clinic for families who prefer a later start than the 8:30 AM session. We hope these additional opportunities help accommodate everyone's busy summer schedules.

Tuesday, July 7

Afternoon Practice
Time: 5:00–6:00 PM

Rain Location: Wayne Community Center

Bring your appetite and join us for one of our favorite Wayne Waves traditions! This is a great opportunity for swimmers and families to relax, enjoy some food, and spend time together outside of competition.

Wednesday, July 8

Swim Clinics

• 9:30–10:30 AM

These clinics are open to all swimmers looking for additional instruction and technique work before the evening meet.
