Hello Wayne Waves Families,

It is Coach Matthew reaching out. I am excited for another summer with the Wayne Waves! 

I have plenty of information to share as we get closer to the season, but I wanted to pass along a few important updates:

Wayne Township Memorial Parade (This Saturday)
There is a possibility for the Wayne Waves to march in this Saturday’s parade. This is completely optional, but if there is enough interest, we can participate as a group.

• Shuttle begins at 9:00 AM from the Wayne Library
• Parade steps off at 10:00 AM
• (We are waiting on final confirmation of the drop-off location, but historically a shuttle is provided)

If your swimmer is interested in participating, please reply back so we can get a headcount.

Registration + Parent Meeting
Attached are two flyers with important information:

• Registration for the 2026 Wayne Waves season (online registration is open)
• Our first Parent Meeting:
  June 8th at 7:00 PM
  Wayne Community Center

We also have a WhatsApp group (Wayne Waves Swim Team) and a Facebook group (Wayne Waves Swim Team) that many parents use to stay connected. These are optional but helpful.

We (myself and the Parent Board) strongly encourage all families to attend the parent meeting, as we will cover the season schedule, expectations, and answer any questions.

We are always looking for new members, so feel free to spread the word about our program!

I will do my best to answer questions in a timely manner. At times, some questions may require coordination with Recreation or our Volunteer Parents Board, and I appreciate your patience in those instances.
