We are looking forward to practice today! As a Coaching Staff we will do out best to make sure we adjust for the heat! We ask for teamwork on this heat matter and will understand if it is to hot for your children to attend swim practice after school.

We have two important swim events coming up:

• This Wednesday, a Ramapo League Away Swim Meet at Lake Valhalla. (13 Vista Road, Montville NJ 07045)
• This, Thursday Mr. Daza and company is hosting a team building event at the Wayne Community Center. (See Schedule to RSVP) (Unfortunately, I will be unavailable)

HALF the team has declared their attendance intentions for the Wednesday, 6/25 swim meet. To create an effective meet lineup, please declare your intentions by the end of the day!

*We will appreciate it if you RSVP for race day and practices, but we will not punish children whose parents "do not have the time," or "technology problems." We just ask for a fair effort.

For Ramapo League Swim Meets

• Ramapo League Meets Warm-Ups starts around 5:15/30pm.
• Ramapo League Meets start at 6:00pm.
• Ramapo League 10-Year-old and under race (10/Under) 25 Meters (1 Lap)-also ribbons provided next day.

We always wish for the best attendance possible because to win, a significant advantage is given to the team that fills the lanes for each stroke and age group.

*Home meets require more volunteers. We can only run a swim meet with your help. Please sign up for volunteer positions through SWIMTOPIA

**Typically, meet lineups are created once we have enough responses via Swimtopia. Once a lineup is completed, we send out the meet lineup to all, usually a few hours before the meet.**

***Mistakes can be made, and communication is appreciated.***

Suppose you don't have a team swimsuit; plan on utilizing whichever suits they currently wear to practice. Ideally, it should be a suit that is not baggy or creates drag. (Suit info on Wayne Wave's Website)

*Cap and goggles are optional but do help, especially if you have long hair.*

Please bring plenty of water and towels/clothes during a meet. Please help us ensure the children do not stray far away from the swimlanes beach. We can not be everywhere at once.

Meet: 6:00pm-8:00pm (Estimated)

(Order of Events: Mixed Age Group Relays, Breaststroke, 10/Under Freestyle Relays, Butterfly, Backstroke, Freestyle and 11/Up Freestyle Relays)

There is only a swim clinic (practice) on the days of swim meets. All are invited!
